Payment Terms
Payment for all MedeSure Healthcare Packages and Plans must be made in full or in part before services are received.
100 Diseases Packages
Payment can be made in 2 equal parts, with initial payment of 50% of the cost of the package and the balance in 6 months. Services will then be limited to two (2) office visits until full payment for the package is received.
Disease Assessment and Management Packages
Payment can be made in 2 equal parts, with initial payment of 50% of the cost of the package and the balance due in 6 months. Services will then be limited to a comprehensive physical examination and a limited blood (laboratory) test until full payment for the package is received.
Executive Medicals
Payment can be made in 2 equal parts, with initial payment of 50% of the cost of the package and the balance due in 6 months. Services will then be limited to a comprehensive physical examination and a limited blood (laboratory) test until full payment for the package is received.
Health Security Plans
Payment for One Year Plans require a downpayment of a half, and 6 equal monthly instalments of the balance. Payment for Three Year and Five Year Plans may be paid in equal instalments at 6-month intervals, with the first instalment made prior to commencement of the Plan.
Layaway Plan
MedeSure members may purchase Disease Assessment & Management and Executive Medical packages by a deferred payment or layaway plan. The member is required to make a downpayment of 20% of the cost of the package, and make 12 monthly payment instalments, of any amount, until the package is fully paid. The Layaway Plan is for a maximum period of 12 months.
The Layaway Plan may be terminated by the member after 1 month with refund of the amount paid minus a termination fee of 10% of the cost of the package.
The member may receive prorated, limited services provided by the package after payment of 50% of the cost of the package.
If less than 50% of the cost of a package is paid, the amount paid minus a 10% termination fee will be refunded after 12 months.
If full payment of a package is received and the member has not commenced services after 12 months, the total amount paid will be rolled-over into a MedeSure Health Savings Account in the name of the member.
